Project details

What we need
  • A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
  • A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future

We will need content for Twitter, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook

What we have in place
  • We have some ideas on what the social media calendar should include for the next month, but would really love someone to help us create engaging and thought-provoking content.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to work on revamping our website.

We currently have more than 2000+ followers on our IG page and a general template to use for creating content. When it comes to our social media calendar, we are looking for someone who is incredibly creative that can help us take our engagement to the next level. If you are creative and want to help us inform our followers about how to be an anti-racist, how to make the US more just and equitable, then please volunteer with us.

  • Volunteer Manager shares social media credentials and existing marketing materials with Professional
  • (If applicable) Professional audits existing social media account to determine which content types are performing best
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss & agree upon target audiences, content types, and posting frequency

Milestone 1: Calendar Structure Creation
  • Professional uses Google Sheets, Excel, Airtable, or comparable software to set up content calendar structure
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

Milestone 2: Content Creation
  • Volunteer Manager shares raw materials (photos, quotes, stories, etc) that Professional needs to create content
  • Professional creates up to 4 weeks’ worth of social media posts (approximately 12-20 posts) and inputs into calendar
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

(Optional) Milestone 3: Content Scheduling / Software Setup
  • Professional connects Organization’s social media account to a scheduling software like Buffer or Hootsuite
  • Professional sets up and schedules up to 4 weeks of posts in scheduling software
