Project details

What we need
  • A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors
Additional details

SEAT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center seeks to raise funds to fund its initiatives, including but not limited to, a women's business accelerator and youth STEAM and STEM programs

What we have in place
  • We currently have information listed on our website and written information, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have mission and vision statements and other narratives, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,140 , allowing us to pay staff members, secure needed equipment to support our programs, and fund additional marketing efforts.

A thoughtful and carefully crafted fundraising letter can help SEAT IEC secure much needed funds to not only support our existing programs, but also create new initiatives to help the community. Also with our limited staff, the added support is extremely critical.

Our mission

The mission of SEAT IEC is to support, empower, advise and train individuals who have traditionally been underrepresented in the small business arena.

What we do

Small Business Development & Technical Assistance

SEAT IEC helps entrepreneurs and small business owners learn the essential principles of successful business management. The primary goal of the Small Business Development & Technical Assistance program is to aid budding entrepreneurs, and business owners with establishing and growing successful businesses so that they can in turn provide employment opportunities to residents in their communities.

Youth Entrepreneurship and STEM Training/Initiatives

SEAT IEC offers a variety of initiatives that supplement students' entrepreneurship related classroom activities. THE STEAM Incubator is SEAT IEC's initiatives for the youth of the Virgin Islands. The STEAM Incubator seeks to transform the lives of students by preparing them for the jobs of the future. We aim to develop a generation of leaders who are passionate about Science Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM), and who desire to be innovative and entrepreneurial.
