Project details

What we need
  • Significant update to Organization’s existing CMS website, such as adding a new page, customizing a theme, adjusting layout, etc.
  • Smaller update to Organization's non-CMS website
Additional details

We are in need of a couple of changes.
1. At some point the site was hacked by pharmaceutical spam and we continue to see the alerts come in from WordFence Security. We need assistance in cleaning up the config files
2. There are plugin or theme issues needing to be corrected
3. Our donation page needs a refresh -we would love for it to be more inviting to our donors or those wishing to learn more about our organization

What we have in place
  • We currently have a website and our WP admin login information, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have WordFence security and an exisiting website, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,586 , allowing us to focus our work on our patients and raise additional funds (via the donation page).

Our website allows people to see what we do and why we do it. Right now, because of the technical issues/struggles, it has been neglected. I would love to have the technical concerns cleaned up and have the donation page overhauled to make it more appealing to our donors.

  • Both parties review our pro-tips for Organizations and Volunteers to ensure the project is set up for success

Milestone 1: Kick-Off Meeting
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss requested updates, and agree on a project timeline
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with credentials to access the website admin portal

Milestone 2: Review Updates
  • Professional makes the requested updates to the website (if available, the changes should be made in a test or development environment first)
  • Volunteer Manager reviews each update, and reports any remaining issues to the Professional

Milestone 3: Implementation of Updates
  • Professional implements updates to the live website
  • Professional troubleshoots any issues that may arise immediately after implementing changes on the live site

Our mission

Patient Assist VI (PAVI) is a non-profit benefiting residents of the US Virgin Islands. Our mission is to make sure no patient has to choose between their basic living expenses and the medications they need to be healthy and productive. As of 2019, we have obtained over $2,000,000 worth of prescription medications for our patients! We are seeing record numbers of referrals and because of the generosity of our donors, our patients never pay anything!
